Cookie Policy

Last updated June 9, 2026

Last updated: 2026.

Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains what Fullimedia (fullimedia.com.co) stores in your browser, why, and how you can control it. Fullimedia is a privacy-respecting editorial publication. We use no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies, and no third-party retargeting pixels. Our browser storage footprint is intentionally small.

What Cookies and Local Storage Are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser. It is sent back to the originating server with each request, which allows the server to recognise your browser across visits. Local storage is a separate browser mechanism that allows a website to store data in your browser without it being sent back to the server on every request. Both mechanisms are governed by your browser’s storage controls.

What Fullimedia Actually Uses

Strictly Necessary

We may set a minimal session or security token if you interact with server-side features such as submitting a contact form. This is strictly necessary to make that interaction work securely. These items are not used for tracking or marketing and are cleared when your browser session ends or shortly thereafter.

Theme Preference (Local Storage — Not a Cookie)

When you switch Fullimedia between light and dark reading modes, your preference is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key fulliTheme. This value never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to our servers. It persists between visits so your preferred reading experience is restored automatically. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for fullimedia.com.co.

First-Party Aggregate Analytics (Optional)

We may use a privacy-respecting, first-party analytics method to count page views and understand broad readership patterns. If present, this involves a lightweight first-party mechanism that counts visits in aggregate. It does not track you across other websites, does not build a personal profile, and the data cannot be used to identify you individually. You can opt out by enabling the “Do Not Track” signal in your browser, by using a content blocker, or by declining optional analytics if a preference mechanism is available on the site.

Cookie and Storage Reference Table

Name / Key Type Purpose Duration Sent to Server?
Session / CSRF token Cookie (HTTP-only) Strictly necessary — secure form submission and session integrity Session (cleared when browser closes, or ≤1 hour) Yes, to our server only
fulliTheme localStorage Stores your light/dark reading mode preference Persistent (until you clear browser storage) No — stored locally only
Analytics counter First-party cookie or localStorage (if enabled) Privacy-preserving aggregate page-view count; no personal profile Up to 12 months, then renewed or cleared Yes, to our server only (no third-party)

What We Do Not Use

  • Third-party advertising cookies or pixels (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.)
  • Cross-site tracking identifiers
  • Retargeting or behavioural advertising tags
  • Social media tracking widgets that report your visit to social platforms

How to Control Cookies and Local Storage

You can manage or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. The instructions vary by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

You can also enable your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal, which we honour for optional analytics. Most browsers also support extensions that block all tracking scripts.

Effect of Declining Optional Items

Declining or deleting the optional analytics item does not break the site in any way. All editorial content remains fully accessible. The only effect of clearing the fulliTheme localStorage entry is that the site will revert to its default reading mode until you set your preference again.

Changes to This Policy

If we add new browser storage items in future, we will update this policy and the reference table above before doing so. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
